The American Super Car Challenge is a heads-up drag race series dedicated to street legal Vipers and Corvettes. Rolling Thunderz Viper and Corvette customers produced 9 second quarter mile performances at the first American Supercar Challenge racing event in October 2003. The red Viper GTS is raced by Tom Welch from BTR Viper Performance who proceeded to win the first American Supercar Challenge race in October 2003 with a 9.8 second quarter mile performance at 143.93 mph.
